21 Savage can add “playable character” to his resume thanks to his recent move to join the “Call Of Duty” family.

According to the game’s website, Activision, which is the leading worldwide developer, publisher, and distributor of interactive entertainment through games like “Modern Warfare” and “Call Of Duty,” announced that the Atlanta emcee will become a part of the franchise through “Call of Duty: Warzone.”

What’s more, the 21 Savage operator skin bundle will be available during the release of Season 5 Reloaded starting Wednesday (Aug. 30) at 9 A.M. PST.

Entering Savage Mode

“It’s time to go savage mode,” read the caption from the game’s official Instagram account of the news. “Making his way into ‘Call of Duty’ is the Slaughter King himself @21savage.”

Through the 21 Savage operator skin bundle, gamers will have access to a finishing move, titled “Stabbed…a Lot,” which is a nod to his hit single, “A Lot,” from the rapper’s “I Am > I Was” album.

Additionally, according to its website, the “21 Savage Bundle notably includes two Weapon Blueprints named after two songs featured in sold-out concert setlists throughout his career: the ‘Savage Mode’ Assault Rifle and the ‘Red Opps’ SMG. And when it comes to some ‘Knife Talk,’ just know the ‘Slaughter King’ Melee tool is 21’s Secondary Weapon of choice.”

An Ode To Hip-Hop

This is not the first time that fans have been able to tap into the lives of some of their favorite artists via “Call Of Duty.” Fellow rappers like Nicki Minaj and Snoop Dogg have also been added as playable characters by the franchise.

“These headliners deserve more than a passing mention, especially because they are here in celebration of five decades of hip hop culture: Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, and 21 Savage,” a previous statement on the company’s website read.

The Intersection Between Gaming And Music

Notable figures in Hip-hop have been used within video games for decades, but the latest moves by Activision are making the experience a bit more personal.

Along with becoming playable characters in “Call Of Duty,” the character models inspired by Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, and 21 Savage will also be available for use by players on other games led by the Activision company, including “Modern Warfare II” and various modes in “Warzone.”
