Their reign fizzled out by 2014 with James’ departure to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers. In addition, Wade also said his goodbyes to the game after playing for the Chicago Bulls and Cavaliers before retiring with the Miami Heat.

Bosh's Exit From The Miami Heat

As for Bosh, his aspirations on the court came to an abrupt stop during the 2015-16 basketball season. This was caused by a blood clot found in his legs that prevented him from playing with the team. Doctors told Bosh that he would likely never play on the court again, but Bosh believed otherwise.

“I felt right away that I was written off. … I have the right to disagree with you. It wasn’t a matter of if I’m going to play again, it’s when,” Bosh said, according to USA Today.

He planned to return: Bosh made several attempts to make his return over three seasons. Ultimately, the Miami Heat organization believed it would be in everyone’s best interest for Bosh to remain off the court when considering his care and liabilities.

Bosh's Impressive Contract

The Miami Heat still carried on their contract with the power forward, BasketNews reports. Therefore, the $52.1 million remaining in Bosh’s contract was distributed across 120 twice-monthly installments of $434,393 that started flowing into his account on Nov. 15, 2017.

This means he was receiving nearly $870,000 every month, which is still impressive.

The contract comes to an end: However, all good things come to an end as the contract did conclude on Nov. 1.
