Congratulations are in order for Natalia Bryant!
The oldest daughter of the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant is now a high school graduate and will head to her dream school in the fall.
Now, a graduate of Sage Hill High School of Newport Coast, California, Natalia was presented with the Sage Hill Compassion Award.
“Congratulations Natalia,” wrote her mother, Vanessa Bryant in a post to Instagram. “We will ALL be with you every step of the way.”
Vanessa also shared a video from a Sage Hill faculty member on what the compassion award means and the impact of Natalia during her tenure at the school.

“No matter what is happening in her own life, she exhibits grace and empathy towards others,” said the Sage Hill employee in the video. ” As a student ambassador, she has been passionate about sharing the Sage Hill experience with prospective and incoming students. She has worked to lift up other young women as a member of the Girls Empowerment Movement Service Learning group for the last two years.”
Natalia, 18, will attend the University of Southern California (USC) located in Los Angeles.
USC is not only home to the Trojans athletic teams, but it is one of the world’s leading private research institutions.
On her special day, Natalia paid homage to her late father, Kobe Bryant with a quote from him located on her USC-themed graduation cap.

“Everything negative – pressures, challenges – is all an opportunity for me to rise,” read the quote.
Her mother also shared more encouraging words about Natalia’s big day.
“Your hard work and dedication was so worth it,” wrote Vanessa in the post. “You pushed through the most excruciating pain imaginable and you succeeded. I wish Daddy and Gigi were physically here to celebrate but I know they’re here in spirit. We love you so much!”
We know that both Kobe and Gianna “Gigi” Bryant are smiling down on Natalia’s huge achievement!
