Snoop Dogg was a part of history when he, Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar served up real Hip-Hop at Super Bowl LVI.
However, his historic moves didn’t start and end there.
Before the big game, AfroTech reported that Snoop Dogg acquired his former record label Death Row Records, the label that catapulted his music career.
“I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant Death Row Records brand, which has immense untapped future value,” he said in a statement to NPR. “It feels good to have ownership of the label I was part of at the beginning of my career and as one of the founding members. This is an extremely meaningful moment for me.”
Then, the rap icon rocked his Death Row Chain on the Super Bowl stage in his home state ahead of the Los Angeles Rams’ championship win — marking a historic victory for not only him, but the West Coast.
From headlining jam-packed arenas to all of his unique ventures, Snoop Dogg is all gas and no brakes. And, his latest big win? Opening up a new brick-and-mortar clothing store near SoFi Stadium.
Snoopy's Clothing
Following the stellar halftime performance, Snoop Dogg held the grand opening for his new store — Snoopy’s Clothing — in Inglewood, CA, according to Rolling Out.
The outlet shares that the clothing store features exclusive Snoop Dogg merchandise, as well as unisex merchandise from his wife Shante Broadus’ clothing line.
Snoopy’s Clothing is also an ode to his career longevity with customers being able to purchase his CDs and pieces of vinyl.
Snoop Dogg Icon Chips
With his clothing store already in gear, the businessman has his own Rap Snacks drop in the works.
AfroTech previously shared that he and Master P became business partners for the new Snoop Dogg Icon chips that are set to release in three different flavors.
