From private jets to jewelry that costs as much as some people’s homes, these artists are enjoying the lifestyles of the rich and famous — and making sure that we all know it. And it seems like every day a new artist emerges sharing tales of their wealth and glory. One of the somewhat newer yet still established artists on the scene is Lil Baby . His star rose exponentially in 2017 and since then he has been a fixture on the award circuit and in countless songs, collaborating with major artists like Kanye West, The Weeknd and Lil Durk. There is power in the tongue, and Lil Baby is proof of it. The Atlanta-bred emcee, born Dominique Armani Jones, had dreams of becoming a millionaire way before he wanted to step into the booth to become a rapper. In fact, he never really had a desire to rap, but as fate would have it, Lil Baby is arguably one of the best lyricists of this generation — and he’s done it on his own terms. “I dreamed about this sh-t as a kid… Imma be a real millionaire,” said Baby during his recently released documentary. Now that “Untrapped: The Story of Lil Baby” has made its debut on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming platform, fans and newcomers alike are getting a firsthand glimpse of his rise to success.

Lil Baby has certainly come a long way from his humble beginnings. The man born Dominique Armani Jones on Dec. 3, 1994, could have had a hard life in Atlanta, GA. His father left the family when he was just two-years-old. He dropped out of high school in his freshman year. And in 2012, he was arrested on several charges — including possession with intent to sell. But despite this inauspicious beginning, Lil Baby proves that it’s not about where you’ve come from, but where you’re going. In 2016, after he was released from his last prison stint, he teamed up with Quality Control Music to form his own label, 4PF (4 Pockets Full). From there, he began releasing a string of hit songs that would — according to Celebrity Net Worth — give him a net worth of $5 million and growing. In May 2021, Lil Baby made headlines when he visited the White House with George Floyd’s family to demand justice for Floyd’s murder. According to NME, he also met with Vice President Kamala Harris during that...
