The summer is heating up for SpiceGirl Angel Gregorio and singer-turned-culinary artist Kelis.
Gregorio is the founder of The Spice Suite, a D.C.-based specialty seasoning shop that has garnered tons of digital supporters and a fleet of fans who will stand in line for hours for spices, sauces, balsamic and more. Now, after building a coveted brand, Gregorio is teaming up with Kelis’s line of sauces, Bounty & Full, for a forthcoming collaboration, reports ESSENCE.
“Kelis found me on Instagram, we were DMing, and then we got on the call and just vibed,” Gregorio said. “We talked through a collaboration box together, what we were going to put in it, we were going to do an Instagram live to announce it late June.”
On June 23, the two flavor queens hopped on IG Live to talk about The CollabBox, their individual businesses, and most importantly, how Black women support one another.
“You had a block full of Black women riding for you,” Kelis said of The Spice Suite’s monthly front door pick-up. “That is the most beautiful, most empowering thing. The fact that we do support each other, we can support each other and we show up.”
The Bounty & Full x The Spice Suite CollabBox will be released on July 10 and available on both brands’ websites.
“It will be the first of a few boxes we’ll do together,” Gregorio revealed on IG Live. Also, she suggests turning on notifications for each social platform for more details on upcoming products.
“My tribe of customers has been relentless in their support of me and The Spice Suite,” Gregorio told ESSENCE. “Its been absolutely amazing.”
