The College Park Skyhawks and Tori Miller have made history.
Last week, the NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks announced Miller’s promotion to General Manager. Along with her new title, she also becomes the first woman to hold the position “in the history of the NBA G League.”
“It’s pretty simple. My motivation is that I believe in making the impossible possible,” she told the NBA G League in 2019. “I think that mindset creates opportunities.”

Prior to her new role, the Decatur, GA native spent time as a Basketball Operations Intern for the Phoenix Suns. When she entered the G League, she began her tenure within the Hawks organization with the Erie BayHawks, where she helped scout personnel as the manager of basketball operations.
For the 2018-2019 season, Miller served as Assistant General Manager of the Skyhawks.

In addition to the history-making hire, Atlanta has promoted Dwight Lutz to Senior Director of Basketball Strategy and Analytics, Zac Walsh to Director of Team Operations and Max Horowitz to Senior Data Scientist. The Hawks also announced the hiring of Justin Howe as Assistant Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist.
