Beyoncé will be blessing us yet again through her Peloton x Beyoncé Artist Series set to release Tuesday, Oct. 19.
If “The Drunk In Love” singer is in the mix, you know everything will be on a bigger scale. The installment marks one of the most anticipated events produced by the world’s leading interactive brand since its inception in 2012.
The 72-hour fitness phenomenon will include 17 classes spanning three days with content streaming globally from Peloton Studios in London and New York. For the first time, Peloton will include classes in three languages — English, German and Spanish — to be more inclusive.
According to a press release from PR Newswire, the upcoming series will dive into “the relationship between our inner and outer power, how we harness motivation and source our strength with inspiration from the world around us, and from within.”
“The Beyoncé Artist Series allows you to mentally draw deeply from internal and external places of power and this is the soundtrack that will transport you,” says Bethel Riley, Head of Music Gwen of Peloton. “We are honored to have designed a new series of classes that elevate movement and music on the Peloton platform. This empowering message will motivate our community to show up for each other and for themselves.”
Users will have the ability to experience daily workouts including cycling, tread, tread boot camp and more. For workout newbies who may not have fancy equipment, Beyoncé’s upcoming course is your time to shine as it will also offer off-equipment options including strength, barre, stretching and an outdoor run and walk.
Honoring Beyoncé’s commitment to serve Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Peloton will be donating Peloton Bikes to HBCU fitness facilities with this fall. As AfroTech previously reported, Beyoncé and Peloton’s social impact partnership provided 10 HBCUs two-year digital memberships for students to unlock fitness classes through the Peloton App.
Partnering schools include Bennett College, Clark Atlanta University, Grambling State University, Hampton University, Howard University, Morehouse College, Morehouse School of Medicine, Spelman College, Texas Southern University and Wilberforce University.
